Sánchez confirmed that, despite his delicate condition, Mujica plans to participate in the elections on October 27.
“He is much better,” commented the senator, referring to the evolution of the former president. Sánchez acknowledged that Mujica’s health situation is complex, due to both his advanced age and the illnesses he has faced. “What’s more, I would say, he may appear earlier in the campaign,” he hinted, without ruling out that the historic Frente-Amplista leader and former president will join in some activity in the days prior to the vote on October 27.
Sánchez also took advantage of the occasion to reiterate that the FA’s priority is to win the elections, leaving the decision on the future ministers of the possible government led by Orsi until after October 27.
