The Panamanian Gianna Woodruff demonstrated in the semifinals of the 400 meter hurdles because she is the favorite to win gold at the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.
Woodruff prevailed in Heat 1 of the semifinals with a time of 55.49, being the best of the day in this event.
For the final Gianna will leave lane 4 where she will have as rivals Tía-adana Belle from Barbados, Daniela Rojas from Costa Rica, Zurian Hechavarría and Darielys Sentelle from Cuba, Michelle Smith from Virgin Islands, Valeria Cabezas from Colombia and Yanique Haye-Smith from Turks and Caicos Islands.
The test is scheduled for the night of this Tuesday, July 4 at 9:10 p.m.
