After it became known, through Argentine media, that supposedly a girl, of that nationality and four years old, She had not been treated at the San Roque hospital in Villazón, The Bolivian Foreign Ministry came out to deny this claim. It presented a copy of the discharge requested by the little girl’s mother, so that she could be transferred to the neighboring country.

He also said that the information had been confirmed by the hospital doctors, the director of SUS and the Vice Minister of Consular Management.

At a press conference in Villazón, Santiago Pérez, the doctor who was on duty at the San Roque hospital last Monday the 15th, the date of the alleged incident, corroborated the version and presented the discharge request signed by the girl’s mother. In his opinion, it is all about an action to “make the institution look bad.”

Perez stated that The girl arrived with a burn on her chin, but when examined it was discovered that, in reality, the burn was more extensive and also included the neck, thorax and part of the lower limb, so the next step was hospitalization.

The doctor indicated that even surgical personnel cleaned the little girl’s injuries and that, when the relatives were informed that the four-year-old girl had to be hospitalized, The mother requested her discharge to take her to a medical center in La Quiaca.
