The Chamber of Deputies plans to speed up the approval of the minute with the constitutional reform that gives the Senate the attribution of ratifying the national guard controls and the Constitutional Points Commission is expected to approve today the respective opinion.
The changes seeks to correct the error of the reform of a year ago, which returned to the national defense the control of that corporation, where the ratification of promotions of its controls was not foreseen, as occurs in the army and the Navy.
The Political Coordination Board foresees that, if the opinion is ready today by the Constitutional Points Commission, it would be advertised in a first session this Thursday to discuss it in a second morning.
For now, after the bridge of a week, the Chamber will resume activities today with the analysis of the presidential report on economic and social policy.
Last Friday, the Chamber of Deputies received the Senate Minute that reforms articles 76 and 78 regarding the ratification of the Senate with respect to the presidential appointments of the National Guard commands.
