A 45-year-old woman died today on the artificial beach of the Club Metropolitano Huiracocha, located in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho. The Police are carrying out investigations at the scene to determine responsibilities.

Some bathers removed the body from the water to the side of the pool until the Police and the prosecutor on duty arrive at the scene so that the body can be removed and subsequently placed in the morgue.
However, some people recorded on their mobile devices the moment the woman was removed from the place. Meanwhile, the Rescuers attempted resuscitation maneuvers without positive result.
The woman’s body will be identified at the morgue. Those in charge of the Huiracocha Metropolitan Club ordered the withdrawal of all attendees and they closed the artificial beach after the incident so as not to hinder the investigations.
