San Jose police arrested a man with more than a kilo of marijuana

Members of the National Directorate of the Republican Guard arrested a man in possession of marijuana and base paste while he was driving through San José.

It was an arrest that occurred in the framework of the “Bochum” operation. A subject was riding a bicycle in a suspicious attitude when the agents arrested him on Mariscal Nasazzi and Colo Colo streets, in the town of Ciudad del Plata, San José.

The agents carried out an inspection and found four bags of marijuana buds and two of base paste, as well as one of cocaine. Given what was found, the operation was transferred to the Departmental Anti-Drug Brigade.

The detainee, a 37-year-old man with no criminal record, was taken to a police station. There it was shown that the subject had a total of 1,219 grams of marijuana and 0.86 of base paste.

After the judicial instance was fulfilled in the 3rd Turn Legal Court, METD was sentenced as criminally responsible perpetrator of a crime of possession not for consumption. For this crime he must serve a sentence of two years in prison of effective compliance.
