In COPAHDIM it will be held this Wednesday on disability day
COPAHDIM is inviting the general population and other institutions to participate in the end-of-year Exhibition of the institution’s workshops.
There will be a variety of work done during the year that is ending.
In the Entrepreneur Walk organized by the Municipality last Saturday, not only were products exhibited, but there were also sales.
The next day’s activity will take place in the morning and will take place in Plaza Constitución.
“On Wednesday, December 3, within the framework of Disability Day, we are going to be at an Exhibition in Plaza Constitución. This is the closing of all the workshops offered annually by COPAHDIM. In addition, we invite all the institutions in the field that work with disabilities to come and exhibit as well.” invited the Teacher Rosana Tabárez.
“We are going to have many attractions such as games for children and at the same time carry out some of the activities that are done in the workshops so that the population can share them. It will be an open demonstration along with the exhibition of all the work that was done throughout the year” commented to THE DIARY PROFESSIONAL.
This year, which is coming to an end, was a very prolific year in terms of the work carried out by the Calle Colón institution.
By bringing the works to a public space, COPAHDIM seeks to make its daily work more visible. “It is the first time we are doing it, that is why we invite the entire population and the rest of the educational institutions to come and meet us” said one of the coordinators of the institution. “We think it’s a nice opportunity because there are still people who don’t come and don’t know. We want to show how we work here.”
This Wednesday’s exhibition will begin at 9:30 and continue until 11:30.
“On Saturday, November 29, we participated in the Entrepreneurs’ Fair organized by the Municipality of Cerro Largo. On that occasion there was a sale of the products made by the children. We exhibited our work and had some sales.” he counted.
ACTIVITY IN SUMMER
COPAHDIM does not close its doors throughout the year and 2026 will be no exception, which is why everything is already planned for the activity to be carried out during the summer period.
“We have a Summer Plan that begins on Wednesday, January 7 and that on this occasion will extend until the 30th of next month” confirmed Rosana Tabárez.
“All users who came in 2025 will be able to attend” accurate.
“Generally not everyone participates because many take that month of vacation. Beyond that, we will be open and working” he remarked.
In this Summer Plan, much more attention is focused on recreational activities.
