The singers PH Mocidade and Andréia Cafféfrom Terreiro de Criouloone of the most important samba circles in Rio de Janeiro, are the guests of this Sunday’s Samba na Gamboa program (2). Presented by samba singer Teresa Cristina, the public broadcaster’s unprecedented attraction will air at 1pm, on TV Brasiland celebrates the circle’s greatest successes.
Founded in 2012 in the Realengo neighborhood, Terreiro de Crioulo is a samba project with Rio roots that has become symbol of cultural resistance, black identity and ancestry through music. During the program, PH Mocidade and Andréia Caffé talk about the history of the circle and the shows that Terreiro does for the country.

The new season of Samba in Gamboa which marks Teresa Cristina’s debut as presenter of the TV Brasil was recorded at the Ruth de Souza Theater, in Parque Glória Maria, in Santa Teresa, in the central region of Rio de Janeiro.
