With the participation and organization of the Friends of Salto Historical Heritage Commission and the support and sponsorship of the department’s Intendancy, the 25th anniversary of the recreation of “La Redota” is carried out between last Friday and today Sunday.
The mayor of Salto, Andrés Lima pointed out that this is an activity that has been carried out in conjunction with Concordia for 25 years. Twenty-seven sharecroppers from Salto participate in this meeting, where in the Vaimaca Pirú Park, each of these sharecroppers has their own ranch.

At the opening on Friday, the folk dance groups Transitando Huellas and En los tiempos de Artigas participated, inaugurating the 25th edition of the event. The commemoration of this 25th anniversary continues today Sunday at 10 am and 3 pm respectively, with shows of Creole skills and a support group for the tradition of Salta in the Vaimaca Pirú Park.
