Sales in supermarkets fell 0.2% in August compared to the same month last year, while in large shopping centers they grew 15.9% year-on-year, the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (Indec) reported on Tuesday.

In wholesale self-services, for their part, sales at constant prices totaled a total of 4,040.5 million pesos in August, which represented a decrease of 2.1% compared to the same month in 2021.
