The businesses of different items located on Eusebio Ayala, celebrate the rehabilitation of vehicular circulation after more than two weeks, but report losses of between 80 to 100%, in the cases of those who could not open a single day.
The Gran Vía supermarket, the Tía Techa and Ña Virginia restaurants, spare parts stores, oil change stores and a service station are some of the many businesses located in the affected section.
Even companies with economic backs suffered heavy losses, as in the case of the supermarket. The general manager of Gran Vía, Miguel Fasssardi, reported that, although they redistributed the merchandise to other branches, daily sales fell 80%.

“We live in anxiety because, although we did not receive any direct grievances, we could not fully open. One of the three doors was only open, but that made people not want to enter. Not even in the pandemic did we have this impact, this was catastrophic for us”, explained Fassardi, in an interview with radio Universo 970 AM – Nación Media.

For his part, José Valentín Giménez, owner of Ña Virginia, explained that his losses also reached 70%, coinciding with the average of the majority, with the exception of those that closed completely during the more than two weeks and that, for therefore, they had zero income.
