Within the framework of a series of meetings being carried out by Dr. Rodolfo Saldain, who headed the Commission of Experts and was one of the drafters of the draft Social Security Reform, he met this Wednesday with the board of directors of the Caja de Professionals and their managerial body to internalize what is proposed as a general reform of the pension system.
The president of the Board of Directors, Virginia Romero, reported that, since the preliminary draft came to light, the Fund has formed a working group for its analysis, but highlighted the presence of Saldain, since during the meeting “he evacuated first-hand the questions and informed them about the new modifications of the reform”, said Romero.
The president considered the meeting “of great importance” and valued Saldain’s willingness to share the most relevant aspects of the draft.
For his part, the expert said that during the meeting “a quick presentation of the general structure of the draft” was made and they stopped at those aspects that involve the Fund. “There are some aspects that the Fund is going to have to articulate a solution as a result of the financial situation in which it finds itself,” Saldain said.
