Abinader said the government sector will not accept an increase of less than 20%. For their part, the union centrals proposed an additional 10%, which would represent a total increase of 30%. Meanwhile, businessmen, to date, have not submitted their proposal.

Implementation
The minimum wage increase in the non -sectorized sector will apply, as long as two of the sectors that make up the tripartite dialogue (businessmen, trade unionists and government representatives) approve it.
