From January 1, 2025, the salary increase of 100 soles will come into effect for public sector workers, including servers under the CAS regime and other labor regimes.

Supreme Decree No. 279-2024-EF benefits the servants, directors and officials of the regimes of Legislative Decrees No. 728, No. 1057 and Laws No. 30057, No. 29709 and No. 28091 who will see an increase in their monthly income, as established by Supreme Decree No. 279-2024-EF, endorsed by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. This increase includes workers under the CAS regime and personnel from the diplomatic, civil and penitentiary services.
The monthly increase will be S/ 100 for all the mentioned regimes, as long as the total income does not exceed S/ 15,600, limit established by current regulations. If this amount is exceeded, the increase will be adjusted to respect said limit.
This increase is remunerative and pensionable in nature, that is, it will be considered for the calculation of labor benefits such as bonuses, bonuses and compensation for time of service. In addition, it will be registered in the payment forms of the corresponding public entities.
The National, regional and local Government entities will be responsible for financing this increase with their institutional budget, without requiring additional resources from the Public Treasury. In addition, the registration of the beneficiaries will be carried out in the Computer Application for the Centralized Registry of Payrolls of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
To access this benefit, workers must be registered in the aforementioned system and meet the established total income limit.
