Workers will be able to check, starting this Thursday (5), whether they are entitled to the Salary Allowance in 2026, referring to the base year 2024. The query can be made using the Digital Work Card or by Gov.br portal.
On the platforms, it is possible to check information such as the value of the benefit, the bank responsible for the payment and the specific date of the deposit. In total, payments total R$32.3 billion and are distributed according to the beneficiary’s month of birth.
The value corresponds to the current value of the minimum wage divided by 12 and multiplied by the number of months worked in the base year. This year, the Salary Allowance varies from R$136 to R$1,621.
