The Administrative Service of Identification, Migration and Immigration (Saime), issued an estimated 1,700 visas for foreign citizens living in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in what corresponds to this last quarter of the year 2022.
Soon, the distribution of 2,500 visas is planned for the 22 main Saime offices in the national territory, which have the immigration service. On a daily basis, this organization delivers identity cards and travel certificates under the scheme of the identity card number terminal.
Saime at its headquarters, located in the city of Caracas, has a Citizen Service office, which receives users who wish to expose their problems, or require advice on any procedure or issue related to the identifying entity.
During this year 2022, responses to procedures have been given to more than 14 thousand foreign citizens residing in Venezuela. Likewise, the foreign community is informed that visa renewal procedures are not carried out at the central headquarters, only the exceptions of tourist extensions, indicates a press release from the Saime.
Venezuela has more than 4,000 foreigners residing in this country, who through Saime carry out the requests for their procedures.
