Safety holder in Tabasco in the midst of violent days

The recent appointments in the state of Tabasco occur in the midst of a growing wave of violence. Between February 10 and 14, 18 malicious homicides were recorded, in addition to shootings, extortion, disappearances and narcobloqueos in different municipalities.

According to the Federal Government Security Report, on February 10 there were four violent deaths, on 11, three were registered, the 13th added two, while February 14 was the most violent day with nine murders, mainly in the municipalities of Centro , Jalpa de Méndez and Nacajuca.

On February 13, three bodies were found in Jalpa de Méndez along with a message from criminal groups aimed at state authorities. A day later, in Nacajuca, three members of a family were killed in a shot attack, according to official reports.

The security crisis was reflected in the INEGI Urban Security Survey, published on January 13, which points to Villahermosa as the city with the greatest perception of insecurity in the country: nine out of ten Tabasco consider that the capital is dangerous.

Given this situation, on January 25, morenistas and employees of the state government marched in support of Governor Javier MAY and to demand the end of violence in the entity.
