Sader delivered 987 thousand tons of fertilizers for strategic crops for free

This year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Sader) delivered 987 thousand tons of fertilizers free of charge to 62 thousand small and medium-scale producers in the 32 states, serving more than 3.3 million hectares of strategic crops, such as corn. , beans, coffee and sugar cane.
The free and direct delivery of inputs has resulted in the growth of basic grain production, despite the prolonged drought in recent years, which has positioned the program at a national and international level.
Sader highlighted.
This work, he detailed, has carried out more than 21 thousand shipments to bring plant nutrition supplies to the 984 agricultural distribution centers, enabled to receive, store and deliver fertilizers to farmers.
Given the importance of coffee and sugar cane crops, he indicated that this year he integrated farmers of both products into the Fertilizers for Well-being registry, with a record of 161,803 and 105,294, respectively, until last day. 15.
The program also included the delivery of 100 virtual training seminars and 15 regional discussions on the correct use of fertilizer, soil care, and efficient use of water.
Looking ahead to 2025, Sader reported that the Fertilizers for Wellbeing program will continue to consolidate the achievements achieved and strengthen the Mexican countryside.
