September 17, 2025. Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- For the second consecutive year, the Secretariat Anti-Corruption and Good Governance (SABG) held the State Short film contest “Transparency in Short” and announced the winners of this edition.
This year, the theme focused on “mechanisms for impulse to transparency to combat misinformation”, and the evaluation criteria were divided into: creativity (35 %), content (30 %) and social impact (35 %).
Of a total of 22 works registered on the contest platform – strengthening the participation of the year 2024 – the following winning projects were selected.
In the category of 15 to 18, the first place went to Horus Jacob Ruíz Hernández, with the short film “with the plants no”; The second place was obtained by Arzhel Xanthe Sosa Pohl González, with “all good”; And third place went to Saúl Isaac Silva Trejo, Kaleb Loza Sifuentes, David Alejandro Treviño Rodríguez and José Gerardo Esquivel Torres, with the work entitled “Toxic misinformation”.
In the category of 19 to 25 years, the first place went to María Guadalupe Zurita Calixto, with the short film “The disinformation virus”; The second place was obtained by José Manuel Tijerina Longoria and Jeiny Guadalupe Sánchez Herrera, with “short news”; While the third place was granted to Martha Secchyd Ricardo Villarreal, for “two publications, a destination.”
The qualifying jury, composed of Tamaulipas experts in cinematography, highlighted the creativity and talent of the participants, who this year competed for a total bag of 90 thousand pesos in prizes, distributed between both categories.

The awards ceremony will take place on September 29 at 5:00 p.m., in the projections room of the Tamux Museum in the Tamaulipeca capital.
