The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, said that Fidel Castro is among the most important leaders of humanity, and history immortalized it. Such pronouncement did it during the closing of the International Fidel Seminar Fidel forever, which is held so that next year 100 years of birth will be completed.
Saab, who personally met Castro, said he was impressed “his culture, his impressive ability, to write down, to reinterpret moments in history and be able to reflect, write, speak.”
He pointed out that he was an “exceptional speaker” since his early youth.
«He had famous phrases that passed into the history of mankind, the first, before taking power with the Cuban revolution by the heroes (…) that phrase in history will absolve me. Not only history acquitted Fidel, I would say it immortalized him, ”he said.
Saab made a call to those present at the event to be stuffed «in a felt, real, cheerful way, the way to Fidel’s centenary. Within a year he will turn 100, a century, but we make that effort for Venezuela to be the epicenter of that centenary, along with Cuba ».
He indicated that it is necessary “everything Fidel has done for humanity is studied, be known, be entangledly reinterpreted, as he always wanted. So that morality, ethics and defense are always our honor, our flag ».
He said that Fidel was characterized by “his human greatness” and considers that it is “one of the most important leaders” that is among the 5 or 10 most important of humanity in the last 100 years.
He recalled that Fidel was born on «a small island, located half an hour from the most cruel empire that humanity has known in recent times. The time will come to study the viciousness with which the American Empire could be overcoming all the cruelty that known from past empires, to bathe with blood, to hunger to the entire world. Expoliar as whole continents had never been done ».
He affirmed that the “head of the Cuban revolution, from the small island of Cuba, without major weapons than its moral, example and leadership, managed to defeat the largest empire on earth.”
