The Attorney General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, said that in a report published last March, the United States Department of State says there is no mention of the alleged poster of the Suns, “nor relation to President Nicolás Maduro with drug trafficking and much less to the extinct train of Aragua,” he said.
In an interview conducted in the VTV pulse program, SAAB mentioned that that is added to the reports of the Drug Control (DEA) Administration of 2024-2025, which do not mention Venezuela as an actor.
“They are self -enhanced expressly, aware, because if you are saying that Venezuela has nothing to do with the issue of drugs, how is it that after two months you invent all this? And you invent it even violating your own lie,” said the prosecutor.
In his opinion, these contradictions demonstrate an intentional misinformation campaign against the country, which demonstrates an inconsistency in Washington’s speech.
It should be remembered that last August, the United States government accused President Nicolás Maduro allegedly leading the non -existent poster of Los Soles and raised the reward for capture to 50 million dollars.
In the interview, the Attorney General, Tarek William Saab, also launched harsh criticism against United States anti -drug policy, exalting US hypocrisy when using the issue as a “alibi” to justify interventions abroad.
He questioned the lack of mention of US boundaries and posters in the reports of that country. “What is the country that produces more marijuana on Earth?”
He also told the United States as the largest producer of this drug, which qualifies as “lethal” and “five times worse” than two decades ago, because its seed is “transgenic.”
Saab also reported that the United States is the only country that has legalized drugs throughout the country, “the alibi of communism no longer gives them as” fake news “to intervene, to invade a country,” and suggested that now the issue of drug trafficking is used as a new excuse.
The prosecutor concluded that the United States’s actions and reports on drugs are contradictory and do not reflect a true fight against organized crime, but rather a strategy to justify political interventions in other nations.
He added that the same international and national actors who have promoted lies campaigns against Venezuela, have tried to generate an internal break and an implosion to the worst style of what they executed during the economic war, characterized by what he described as “psychoterror to their maximum expression.”
“They have not achieved it, much less the internal breakup,” he emphasized. In this regard, he stressed that there is currently a greater institutional, civil, military and police unit, as never seen in the country’s republican history.
CIA uses “cultural war” to destabilize nations
The prosecutor said that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), of the United States, has been behind systematic operations aimed at dismantling nations, eliminating intellectual references and undermining sovereign cultures, as part of a global domination strategy.
Saab, assured that the CIA used “cultural war” as a strategy to destabilize nations, weaken leaderships and even neutralize intellectuals.
It also reference to the origins of this tactic, by citing Congress for cultural freedom, which was held between 1950 and 1967. The prosecutor said that this Congress was used by the CIA to capture and manipulate influential figures of thought and culture.
He affirmed that “the Congress for Cultural Freedom was used to capture intellectuals” and that, although the process has not been one day to another, it is convinced that it happened, based on the information collected.
The prosecutor appointed personalities such as George Orwell, Jean-Paul Sartre and Bertrand Russell as examples of intellectuals who, consciously or unconsciously, were involved in this influence operation.
