The President of the Council of Ministers, Alberto Otárola, announced that a supplementary loan will be requested for the benefit of the National Police of Peru in the context of the protests taking place in the interior of the country.
The congresswoman of the Cambio Democrático-Together for Peru caucus Ruth Luque spoke about the announcement made by the president of the Council of Ministers, Alberto Otárolain which it indicates that it will request a supplementary credit to grant an extraordinary bonus to the members of the National Police of Peru (PNP). The parliamentarian questioned what was said by the head of the ministerial cabinet and specified that the benefit “sounds more like an award for so many deaths and injuries” in the face of the protests that are taking place in the interior of the country.
“The Otárola cabinet has no desire to urgently address the crisis. They depend so much on their ‘block’ that they do not get permission for the 2023 elections and prefer to announce a bonus that sounds more like an award for so many deaths and injuries. A shame!” , he wrote on his Twitter account.
