Russian ship "Admiral Vladimirsky" is visiting Venezuela

The Minister of Defense, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, announced the arrival in Venezuela this Saturday of the Oceanic scientific ship «Admiral Vladimirsky», of the Baltic fleet of the Federation of Russia, as part of the military cooperation between the two countries.

Through its social networks, Padrino López, showed the arrival of the Russian ship to the port of La Guaira. It should be noted that in August 2024, the Russian school ship “Smolniy” also arrived in Venezuela, as part of a work visit.

The head of Defense in Venezuela recalled that in March of this year, both nations turned 80 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

With the arrival of the former president Hugo Chávez in 1999, the ties between the two nations were strengthened, and currently with President Nicolás Maduro the strategic alliances with Russia grow.
