Russian Deputy Prime Minister honors the Liberator Simón Bolívar

The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and co-president of the Russia-Venezuela High-Level Intergovernmental Commission (Cian), Dmitry Chernyshenko, paid honors to the Liberator Simón Bolívar this Thursday along with the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodriguez at the Mausoleum of the National Pantheon, Caracas.

Chernyshenko was accompanied by the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Russia in Venezuela, Sergey Mélik-Bagdasáriov, among other Russian personalities.

During the ceremony, a wreath was offered to Simón Bolívar and the national anthems of Venezuela and Russia were sung. In addition, the minutes of the event were signed, this is a milestone due to the importance of this tribute in the great sanctuary of the heroes of the Homeland.

Earlier, Rodríguez met with the deputy prime minister of Russia, Dmitry Chernyshenkowithin the framework of the XVIII meeting of the High Level Intergovernmental Commission (Cian) between both nations.

Previously, the Russian authority was received by Chancellor Yván Giltogether with the ambassador of that country in Venezuela, Sergey Mélik-Bagdasárov, at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía.

There are more than 300 bilateral cooperation instruments signed. In addition, the CIAN has 13 subcommittees in strategic areas, including financial, energy, industry, commerce, customs, transportation and tourism, agriculture, fishing and food, science and technology, education, health, culture, sports and youth, among others. others.
