Russia has found a way to circumvent the closure of the airspaces of Canada, the US and Europe by which transport companies have been forced to modify their usual routes to reach America, flying over the North Atlantic.
Several flights from different airlines are scheduled to leave for the Island from Moscow in the coming days.
One of the connections is Royal Flight Airlines flight 573 to Varadero, which is scheduled to arrive this Friday afternoon. Other flights, from Aeroflot, NordWind and Royal Flight itself should arrive in the country between Saturday and Monday of next week.
The route that these airlines will follow will be through the North Atlantic and an hour of crossing will be added with the detour, as was done by NordWind Airlines flight 353, which left this Tuesday from Sheremetyevo airport, in Moscow, and He arrived today Juan Gualberto Gómez, from Varadero. The same route that Azur Air made earlier this week between the Moscow-Vnukovo international airport and the La Romana air terminal in the Dominican Republic.

The Cuban Airports and Aeronautical Services Company (Ecasa) recently broadcast a message on its Telegram channel, announcing that the NordWind airline will maintain flights from Russia to Cuba and vice versa, with specific instructions for Cubans.
The message indicated that residents of the island will be accepted on return flights from Russia, but that national passengers from Cuban airports will be admitted only after all Russian tourists have a seat.
As reported on Thursday the official pressNordwind will continue to operate Wednesdays and Saturdays from Moscow to Varadero, and on Tuesdays and Fridays it will connect the Russian capital with the Cayo Coco tourist hub.
The closure of airspace in various parts of the world to Russian planes has been one of the measures imposed on the Eurasian country for the invasion of Ukraine.
