Russia yesterday intensified attacks in the Kharkov and Donietsk regions (northeast and east of Ukraine). The Kremlin spokesman, Dimitri Peskov, admitted to him on the American channel MSNBC that “it will be a long crisis, but we will never trust the West again.”

In Severodonietsk, the offensive to take control of Donbas, the eastern mining basin partially controlled by pro-Russian separatists since 2014, has been concentrated in recent weeks.

The governor of Luhansk confirmed Metyolkine’s fall into Russian hands and acknowledged that the Toshkivka attack “had a degree of success.” Both towns are located on the outskirts of Severodonietsk.

He added that the situation in the city was “very difficult,” and that Russian forces continue to deploy more troops and equipment to the area. “This is hell. Everything is engulfed in flames, the shells do not stop even for an hour, ”he said.

Severodonietsk Mayor Oleksander Stryuk reported that the Russians control about two-thirds of the city.

On the southern front, the Ukrainian army assured that the Russian forces “are unable to advance the terrain” and only continue to bombard.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it attacked a factory in Mikolaiv with cruise missiles and destroyed “ten howitzers and twenty armored vehicles supplied to kyiv by the West in the last ten days.”

Mikolaiv is on the road to Odessa, Ukraine’s largest port, where millions of tons of Ukrainian grain are blocked.

In Odessa, a food warehouse was destroyed yesterday in a Russian missile attack, the Ukrainian military reported.

kyiv forces attacked drilling rigs in the Black Sea owned by a Crimean oil and gas company, said Sergei Askyonov, the Russian-appointed regional leader.
