Russia assured on Sunday that there were more than a hundred attacks by Ukraine in Russian regions such as Briansk, Kursk and Belgorod in the last week, according to the Federal Security Service (FSB, former KGB).
“In the last week there were more than a hundred attacks against 32 towns in the Briansk, Kursk and Belgorod regions with the use of multiple missile launchers, artillery, mortars and drones,” the FSB said, according to the official TASS agency.
As a result of the alleged Ukrainian attacks, one person died and five other citizens, including a child, were injured.
In the border regions, two electrical substations, 11 residential buildings and two administrative buildings were also destroyed, the FSB said.
A total of eight checkpoints on the state border were also damaged, it added.
