Alena Varkentin, director of that distribution company, explained to Sputnik that in January of this year they signed contracts with entities marketing products from that Eurasian nation.
The first shipment of merchandise will arrive in Cuba in December, as part of the agreement with Miratog, one of the main meat producers in Russia.
Rusmarket will not only have a “little store” in the capital, since in June or July it will open a shopping center in the space previously occupied by the Yumurí store, located on Reina and Belascoaín.
The market will be made up of departments of clothing, shoes, food, makeup, dishes and appliances, a games and “fun” space for children, cinema, cafes, candy stores and a restaurant.
Russia strengthens its relations with the Cuban regime
