Course promoted by INEFOP and is dictated in Melo
With very good daily assistance despite the high time load, a rural carpentry course has been issued.
Yes, the facilities of Picapiedras are being used, this training proposal for the elderly is promoted by the Institute of InAcleo and Vocational Training.
The objective is that people go out with basic knowledge in this specific topic, but also acquire tools on carpentry in general.
The course began a week ago and will run until the end of August.
“This is an INEFOP training that we started a week ago. It has a duration of 1 month and is oriented to people over 18 years. This is rural carpentry” told Fabricio Silva to The daily professional.
“At this time, in these first days, we are with 18 students” revealed. “There are few classes yet, but for now assistance has been maintained. That for us is important to give continuity to the course. Sometimes it is complicated a bit to integrate people. Happily this group that began has been integrating in a very good way” highlighted.
Classes are being dictated from Monday to Friday from 18 to 22 hours in one of the rooms of the Salesian social work. “It’s an intensive course” synthesized.
In a first stage, training has a strong theoretical base. “There are many people who are not linked to the subject. It never had a relationship with a machine, with a tool. That is why we start with all the theoretical part and what the rural carpentry is about. Then we lead ourselves to machinery, tools and the realization of practical work. On the other hand, we have people who already have previous knowledge, that yes they are not experts in the subject do have the basic foundations” The teacher in charge of the course commented.
“Rural carpentry is the conventional but more rustic” explained. “It has furniture and then in the field part it has porters, stocks, feeders and tubes. In the case of here, we do not have the infrastructure to perform all that” He pointed out. “Yes a goalkeeper, a cancel that is a small goalkeeper, a larger goalkeeper, feeders or bats, tables, banks, we can do all that, obviously with less termination or more rustic endings. That is why it is called rural carpentry” said.
“This is a course that is carried out through INEFOP. It was they who were in charge of interviewing the registrations. Classes are dictated in picapiedras” reported.
It is the first experience of Fabricio Silva in courses dictated by the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training. “I am doing through UTU, in that case at the National Institute of Rehabilitation. It is the same training with many more classes. Instead of doing it in a month, we do it in 10 weeks, that is, 2 and a half months. The daily hourly load is much less” The teacher held.
