The Ethics Council of the Lima Bar Association (CAL) will evaluate the start of an administrative investigation against the congresswoman Rosselli Amuruzin his capacity as a member of the order, for allegedly having committed the crime of incompatible negotiation or undue use of office, as detailed in the recent complaint which presented the Public ministry against him.

The CAL argued that this measure would be taken because the image of the Lima Bar Association would be affected. Through a statement posted on its X account, the LIME He also stressed that “high-ranking state officials who are lawyers and who commit violations of the ethics rules of the Lima Bar Association will be referred to the Ethics Council, which will determine whether they violated the rules.”
The CAL stated that a possible sanction against the third vice president of Congress could range from a warning, suspension, separation and even expulsion from the Lima Bar Association. “Which is valid nationwide and is indicated in the National Registry of Sanctioned Lawyers (RNAS) of the Ministry of Justice, as provided by Legislative Decree No. 1265,” the statement argued.

On July 19, the Attorney General’s Office, through the Department of Illicit Enrichment and Constitutional Complaints, filed a constitutional complaint against Congresswoman Rosselli Amuruz (Avanza País), alleged instigator of the crime of incompatible negotiation or undue use of office.
The third vice president of Parliament is accused of intervening in the hiring of three people close to former parliamentarian Paul García, who is Amuruz’s partner.
