This afternoon, the regime will promote nine general commissioners, three men and six women, who will join the police list. Among those promoted stands out the spokeswoman for the National Police, Vilma Rosa González González, whom the regime will reward with the title of general commissioner. González, she is the head of Public Relations and has held that position since 2015, previously she served as head of the Police Supervision and Control Division.
The other officers who will be promoted are Commissioner Mayra del Carmen Pizarro Martínez, head of the Airport Department; Major Commissioner Martha Ligia Solórzano Suárez, Police Chief of the Boaco department; Senior Commissioner Janina de los Angeles Robleto Zeledón, head of the Directorate of Juvenile Affairs nationwide.

The list is also made up of Senior Commissioner Thelma Isabel Collado Cerda, Police Chief of District III of Managua, and Commissioner Johana Francisca Plata Tijerino, National Chief of the Women’s Police Stations.
Among the male officers awarded by Ortega are Commissioner General Diego Manuel Baltodano Callejas, chief of Border Security; Senior Commissioner Juan Manuel Chávez Chávez, Police Chief of the North Caribbean Coast Autonomous Region, and Senior Commissioner Luis Alberto Guevara, Police Counterintelligence Chief.
