Rosario Flores: Singing with maestro Pablo Milanés was a gift

MADRID, Spain.- This week the song “Comienzo y final de una verde mañana” came to light, performed by the Cuban singer-songwriter Pablo Milanés and the Spanish Rosario Flores. The song is the third single featured so far from the album. love and sauce by Milanés, which will be released posthumously this May, under the Universal Music Spain label.

For her part, the daughter of Lola Flores referred to what this collaboration with Milanés meant to her.

“I had the pleasure of singing with maestro Pablo Milanés and for me it was an honor and a gift. He is a star that shines in the sky and who gave us all his music, all his art filled each pole of our lives, ”said the singer.

“For me it has been an honor to be able to share a song with him while he was alive and I take that with me,” he added.

The album love and sauce includes classic songs by Milanés and some unpublished ones gathered in 18 collaborations and two that Pablo himself performed alone. These songs are taken to the salsa genre with arrangements by Dagoberto González, musical director and producer of the album.

In addition to Rosario Flores, they participated in the project Aymée NuviolaGonzalo Rubalcaba, Yotuel Romero, Alejandro Sanz, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Andy Montañez, Johns, Diego Torres, Oscar D’León, Ismael Miranda, Luis Enrique, La India, Francisco Céspedes, Ana Belén, El Canario, Caco Senante, Víctor Manuelle and Isaac Delgado.
