Rosales hopes that the commercial exchange with Colombia will reactivate Zulia

Governor Manuel Rosales hopes that, in addition to the reopening of the border, Venezuela can forge other alliances, such as with the United States, for the return of transnational oil and gas companies. The opponent also insists on an agreement between the Venezuelan political sectors to use funds frozen abroad and that they be invested to solve the electricity crisis, which especially affects the state of Zulia.

Given the proximity of the reopening of the border with Colombia, the governor of Zulia state, Manuel Rosales Guerreroassured that this fact “officially launches a vigorous commercial exchange, which will give way to business opportunities, investments, jobs and the reactivation of the entity’s industrial park.”

Rosales hopes that from Monday the 26th a more intense dynamic will begin, for which he urged to receive with affection, respect and brotherhood “those who will come to give life to such a strategic exchange.”

During a delivery of certificates to students of the Jesús Enrique Lossada program, the governor also said that “we have faith that this year the governments of Venezuela and the United States will bring about the return of the transnational oil and gas companies, because Lagunillas and the entire East Coast del Lago will once again be emporiums of prosperity».

For this reason, he insisted that “we must be prepared, we must support education and training for work. The Productive Zulia is not a simple slogan, it is a goal towards which we advance, with difficulties and setbacks, but without stopping. That’s where we’re going and I’m counting on you.”

Regarding the electricity crisis in the entity, Rosales reiterated his proposal to the political sectors to reach agreements and that part of the funds frozen abroad be used to invest in the electrical system.

“It is a certain possibility, CAF, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and other organizations related to the UN are there, ready to help with the required transparency. That is not money for the pocket of someone in particular. These international institutions have experience and prestige in these joints », he stressed.

Manuel Rosales affirmed that “it is time to address that discussion. I ask whoever has to get up to get up from the sofa. There are four million people from Zulia who demand once and for all that this ordeal ends.”
