In his appearance on the occasion of the gloss of the First Report of Sheinbaum, Rodríguez offered will to punish those who commit crimes, but did not make direct reference to the investigations to elements of the Semar Imiscuidos in Fiscal Huachicol or the case of the alleged leader of “La Barredora” Hernán Bermúdez, official of the former governor and today Morenista senator Adam adam.
“The commission of crimes or acts of corruption will not stop the advance of a project that promotes the majority. Our institutions are strong and there is the political will to guarantee zero impunity to those who betray the confidence of the people. The signal we send to the entire nation is unequivocal and firm,” he said.
“There will be punishment and sanction for those who commit a crime regardless of its hierarchical level or its economic position. The transformation progresses, and with it justice,” he said.
In his message he insisted that there are advances in the fight against public insecurity and there have been “notable fruits such as the reduction of homicides for 11 consecutive months at 25% thanks to inter -institutional coordination and the work of extraordinary colleagues.”
Among them he mentioned the Secretary of Citizen Security and Protection, Omar García Harfuch, the Secretary of National Defense, Ricardo Trevilla Trejo, and the Secretary of the Navy, Admiral Raymundo Pedro Morales Ángeles.
