Rommel Fernández vaccination point closes its doors

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reminded the population that until this Monday, November 15, the vaccination point installed in the parking lots of the Rommel Fernández Stadium in Juan Díaz will operate, where more than 500.00 doses have been applied.

In the next few days, the new facilities will be announced that will serve to continue with the vaccination process established in Operation PanavaC-19, led by President Laurentino Cortizo Cohen.

The National Government reiterates to the population to go to the vaccination points to apply their first, second and booster doses against COVID-19.

Likewise, the Minsa emphasizes the importance of maintaining biosecurity measures, since only by preserving self-care can infections be avoided.

More than 88% of the population has received a dose against COVID-19
For today, Sunday, November 14, the Expanded Program of Immunization of the Minsa informs that of the vaccinable population, 88.5% have been inoculated with the first dose and 78.5% with second doses.

As of this afternoon’s cut, 5,899,295 doses had been applied against COVID-19 since the vaccination process began last January.

Of this total, 753,272 doses of AstraZeneca, 5,146,023 of Pfizer, 5,645 third doses and 126,441 booster doses have been applied.

At the national level, the vaccination process continued, for example, in the province of Coclé 45 doses were applied for today, while in San Miguelito 414 doses were inoculated with vaccines from both pharmaceutical houses.

8,232 vaccines were applied this day in the 8-10 circuit, as reported by the Metropolitan Health Region.
