The singer’s last concert Romeo Santoswhich took place on February 14, generated income for establishments selling beverages, merchandising and food for S/544,759, reported the National Superintendency of National Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat).
The Sunat reported that it carried out the Comprehensive Verification of Compliance with Tax Obligations operation, which made it possible to verify the correct registration to the RUC and the issuance of payment vouchers for the 30 establishments installed inside the National Stadium, which belonged to two concessionaires.
“The intervention will make it possible to make a projection of the sales made, in order to validate the declared income of each of the verified taxpayers”, commented the Superintendency.

Likewise, it specified that although the correct issuance of the payment vouchers was verified in the Romeo Santos, in one of the cases the taxpayer stated that he had problems with his issuance systems due to the saturation of orders; however, he pointed out that he would regularize all his sales.
“It is important that attendees of massive shows request their proof of payment when they make the purchase of a product, because this guarantees that the taxpayer declares all the income obtained and pays the corresponding taxes,” he assured.
In the same way, he assured that he will continue with the control actions in the next mega-concerts that take place throughout the country. In this way, the formalization of commercial activities is promoted and that both attendees (who must request proof of payment) and taxpayers comply with their tax obligations.
