The former Vice Minister of Security, Rogelio Donadío, echoed the statements of the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, regarding the measures that his government will take against criminals.

He stressed that we (Panama) should look at ourselves a little in El Salvador, regarding government policies.

“Not only do you have to see the gang members with tattoos, but also those who are wearing a jacket and tie, who are the ones who lead them. What has happened is that the gangs have more resources than ever and now the problem is that we have better organized, better armed gangs,” he said.

It should be noted that the president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, warned the gangs that if they increase homicides in the country, they will take away the food in the prisons where they are incarcerated.

“I am going to take the opportunity to send a message to criminals. You unleash a wave of crime and we take food away from prisons, so you better stay calm and let yourself be arrested,” Bukele said during a graduation event for 205 high school students. the National Academy of Public Safety that was broadcast on social networks, on Monday.
