The President of the Association of. “Parents come with their children on these journeys but there comes a time when they are tired, due to health situations, which do not allow them to continue and we are aware through people who have come to our offices that these parents hand them over to other people to that they continue with the children and hand them over to the Panamanian authorities, but we know that many of them release them at a certain distance so as not to have any type of responsibility with the authorities when they question where that child is from or subject him to some type of situation that prevents that immigrant from continuing on his way,” Rodríguez explained.
