“Venezuelan airspace is the direct responsibility of the Bolivarian Government,” declared this Sunday the president of the National AssemblyJorge Rodríguez, when referring to the measures in defense of national sovereignty, who also highlighted that some clear actions have already been taken in the communications that were published through the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry.
Likewise, Rodríguez highlighted the operation ordered by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, for the implementation of a special plan for the return of compatriots who are stranded in other countries, as well as facilitating the departure of those who must travel abroad.
Likewise, Rodríguez pointed out that the restriction of airspace constitutes an action promoted by the United States Government and supported by María Corina Machado.
“Those people who are sleeping there at the Baraja airport, remember that it was María Corina Machado who requested that these types of actions take place, clearly illegitimate, as indicated in the statement from the Bolivarian government,” added the parliamentarian.
Likewise, he stressed that various media have been used to spread false news about an alleged closure of Venezuelan airspace, which has been denied by the competent authorities.
It should be noted that these statements were made within the framework of the meeting held by the Board of Directors of the Venezuelan Parliament with relatives of victims of extrajudicial executions by the US Government. “The ‘kill them all’ order violates the Geneva Conventions and International Humanitarian Law,” he said.
He also reported that a special commission of the AN will be launched to address the case, which will be formed this Monday during an extraordinary session of Parliament.
Finally, Rodríguez emphasized that the truth of Venezuela and peace are expressed in the streets and are incontrovertible.
