During the celebration of the 17th Anniversary of the Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV), the Minister of Popular Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, stressed that in the new stage of the International School of Leadership Youth Antonio José de Sucre, there is a vision of installing headquarters of this training center in each of the states, municipalities and communes of the country.
During the event, which was attended by President Nicolás Maduro, Rodríguez stressed that not only Venezuelan Youth has formed, but the amount of 121 international students, from different nations, such as Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Along the same lines, Minister Rodríguez added that of the 4,000 students who make life in this institution, 3,792 are students of 662 parishes and 1,790 communes of the country; For what stood out, at the same time, that “it is not only the quantity, but the quality and territorial presence that this leadership school seeks.”
In this order of ideas, also the social and territorial vice president, detailed the objective of some of the programs found in the study plan:
- Diploma of Leadership in Communal Management: seeks to train youth teams of all communal circuits and communes of the country.
- University Student Leadership Workshop: that additional to training the youth of university institutions, also shares this space with the youth of the Bolivarian Student organization.
- Special workshop of communal promoters: aimed at the new generation for its development in the consultation of the communal circuits.
- Special Workshop of Community Recreators: for the reorganization of the entire National Movement of Recreators (MNR) of Venezuela, and thus guarantee that the recreation policy is permanent, systematic and territorialized.
- Indigenous leadership workshop: focused on helping to direct the country’s indigenous youth.
- Electoral political and technical participation workshop: with the vision that the Leadership School remains the meeting point for the permanent training of Venezuela’s socialist youth.
Therefore, Rodríguez has pointed out that, although there are challenges and tasks so that all young people from the communal circuits pass through this center, the instructed by President Nicolás Maduro, the impulse of the thoughts of thought and the shoring of the work teams for each of the 7 transformations of the homeland must be consolidated.
