The dream of the extreme right led by María Corina Machado, Leopoldo López and Edmundo González Urrutia is to destroy the Venezuelan economy through the sanctions imposed by the United States to our country, said the vice president of communication and electoral issues of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Jorge Rodríguez.
During the usual weekly press conference of the red awning, Rodríguez recalled how those illegal actions of imperialism, requested by the Venezuelan opposition, caused serious damage to our economy in the years 2019, 2020 and 2021.
«They hurt us a lot, they reduced Venezuela to inconceivable levels, attacked our main source of income that is the oil industry. Now review the conditions of our economy, the effects of sanctions and blockade still feel, but we learned to overcome them, ”Rodríguez said while highlighting the economic improvement and tranquility currently lived in the country.
Similarly, he repudiated that leaders such as María Corina Machado support the kidnapping of nationals in a maximum security prison in El Salvador. «She has been able to invent all kinds of hoaxes to people who in her life have committed some kind of crime, invent things she has done. She has been responsible for the death of Venezuelans because of the blockade, of the sanctions. She has been guilty of crimes of betrayal of the country, of crimes against humanity, ”he said.
USA and El Salvador put in a “package”
Likewise, the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, said that the United States and El Salvador have not to save themselves with the great violation of human rights they committed with the kidnapping of more than 250 Venezuelans in a maximum security prison in the Central American country.
«They have not how to do, because the level of human rights violation, international conventions, international norms, the right to defense, due processes, all that flew it is such. The clown (Bukele) accepted, to obtain an economic benefit, kidnap a group of people and take them to a concentration camp, ”he said.
In this order of ideas, he rebuked the president of El Salvador to explain to the world because those more than 250 Venezuelans are imprisoned in that country without having committed any crime in that nation.
«Those boys are kidnapped, they are in concentration camps. In tremendous package they got because there is no way, in terms of humanity, to justify that, ”he stressed while criticizing that organizations” defenders of migrants “have not ruled against this atrocious action.
Fraud in Ecuador
On the other hand, Rodríguez repudiated that from Ecuador it is intended to generate an opinion matrix against Venezuela to try to cover the fraud committed in the last elections in that country.
«Not even the OAS that was there to endorse those elections was able to guarantee the gigantic fraud. There is no human way, statistical to sustain those numbers after evidence of fraud committed, ”he criticized.
In this sense, he dismissed the accusations of the Government of Daniel Noboa about the alleged theft of Ecuadorian electoral material in Venezuela. “What really happened is that he suspended the elections here (in Venezuela) because he was going to lose and here he was not going to be able to commit the fraud he committed,” he said.
