A draft agreement establishing that parliamentarians go out to their respective circuits in order to address with the people the serious allegations made by the Vice President of the Policy, Citizen Security and Peace Sector, Diosdado Cabello, regarding the terrorist plans dismantled in recent hours, was the proposal made by the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez.
Following the intervention of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Justice and Peace in parliament during the ordinary session, the President of the National Assembly described the situation as “very serious” referring to the plan revealed in the last few hours.
“This is so serious that it merits going beyond a debate as we had planned for today, therefore I propose that the Domestic Policy Committee prepare a draft Agreement to be discussed next Thursday at the regular session of the National Assembly, so that the deputies go out to the circuits of their corresponding memberships, so that they go out to contact the people, not only to keep an eye on them, but also to find out what they feel and what the position of all our people is, in the face of the very serious allegations made by Minister Cabello Rondón,” he emphasized.
Rodríguez pointed out that he would close the point with “an absolute truth, clear as the full moon: we will defeat them, we will overthrow them, we will annihilate them, and all those who have caused pain and anxiety to our people will go to prison. I swear by my children, by the bones of my dead father, we will defeat them.”
Criminals disguised as political action
Rodriguez said that once again there is an attempt to sow destabilization using criminals disguised as political action.
“Let the Republic of Venezuela, the Venezuelan State, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela count on the determined support not only of the deputies of the National Assembly (…) but also on the support of all our people, who are ultimately the subject of the protection of the State and the Bolivarian Revolution,” he said.
He pointed out that the facts presented by Minister Cabello Rondón are very serious and that in the session he went into greater depth “on the links that exist between the intellectual authors of this violence who ultimately pay homage to those who have prepared all these plans in a cold office in Virginia or in Washington.”
