In recent days, the party’s candidate Anti-Corruption Rulers League has received support from various sectors of Uribism, the Santanderean has thanked the votes, but indicates that it does not want to make alliances with any other party. However, Petro and his followers have strongly criticized these aids.
The video issue began when the former Governor of Boyacá, Carlos Amaya, published a tweet where he commented, “An urgent meeting should be convened from the Historical Pact to analyze the next step after a member of their team ‘betrayed’ them by welcoming the Uribistas”.
The tweet was accompanied by a video of the candidate in the middle of a speech where he comments, “If the gentlemen and ladies of Uribismo arrive here, welcome, welcome”.
Immediately, Hernández took advantage of this situation to criticize him through his official Twitter account, where he wrote, “Petro’s double standard is overflowing. Before attacking me, take a good look in the mirror, lest you be attacking yourself.”
