Rocío Calderón, friend of Nobody Heredia, confessed during the oral trial to former President Ollanta Humala who opened a bank account at the request of the former first lady, Nadie Heredia, with the objective of receiving contributions for her presidential campaigns with the Nationalist Party, in the context of the creation of the party in 2005.
Rocío Calderón Vinatea, a friend of Nadine Heredia, revealed that her collaboration was limited to facilitating the opening of a bank account to receive contributions destined for the political project of her husband, Ollanta Humala. In her statement, she emphasized that she was not informed about the nature of the funds or their foreign origin.
“Nadine asked me to deposit some requests for contributors for the formation of the Nationalist Party in my bank account. This was right in the old relationship of friendship that we had and the bond of trust,” he said during the hearing.
In that sense, he maintained that to avoid confusion of his personal issues and these contributions about which he had no doubts because he understood that this relationship of trust implied a framework of legality and validity of the political project in which they were embarking, he decided to open an account in the Credit Bank. 3 deposits were made in that account, he confessed.
The friend of the former first lady was an employee of the Brazilian company OAS between 2009 and 2010, where she earned US$10,000 a month. Calderón worked in parallel within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at that time.
Calderón assured that his role was restricted to the creation of the account and the deposit of the resources. Heredia’s friend highlighted that, at no time, was she informed that the contributions came from abroad.
“I must point out that even verifying the account statements it was impossible for me to determine who the depositor was, in the statement or details of the transfers they indicate some abbreviations. All the parties that are within this process of investigation have learned who the contributing company was through a financial intelligence report, where it was determined that the contributor was the Caixamac company,” he added.

This amount is related to the notes that Heredia made in his agendas.
