Roberto Sánchez: “Unfortunate that the majority of Congress obstructs the exercise of foreign policy”

The head of the Ministry of Tourism and Foreign Trade, ruled on the decision of the Plenary of Congress by not authorizing President Pedro Castillo’s trip to Belgium, Italy and the Holy See in Vatican City, where he was going to meet with Pope Francis.

This Thursday, with 54 votes in favor, 55 against and 6 abstentions, the plenary session of Congress rejected the request presented by the Executive for Castillo Terrones to leave the national territory on October 12 and 18 to visit Brussels (Belgium), the Holy See and international organizations based in Rome.
