The Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Robert Sanchezdescribed the report that proposes to disqualify the president for the crime of treason peter castle as a baseless “ridiculous” and an attempt to get “politicking” to lead the country again.
In statements to TV Peru, the official assured that what was approved by the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations is a sign that “the reason does not matter, that there is no good sense.”
“It is the gross and shabby lordship of the simply subjective vote. Look now with this treason. It has no base, it is ridiculous, we are giving a supine show in terms of ignorance of these elements”he stated.
Sánchez ruled out knowing if Pedro Castillo or the Executive as a whole is evaluating concrete actions before the approval of the report in the subcommittee, a fact that occurred on the morning of November 11.

“Sensiblely, calmly, serenely, the president is evaluating the measures. We are all going to meet again in Lima and we are going to be able to evaluate and announce to the country that democratic tenacity but invocation of dialogue and governability”he asserted.
The minister recalled, as an example of this attempt at dialogue from the Executive, the meeting that President Castillo and members of the cabinet held with the heads of the Episcopal Conference.
