Roberto Sanchez

Congressman Roberto Sánchez, spokesperson for Together for Peru – Voices of the People, announced that he will collect signatures for the vacancy motion that he will present against the president Dina Boluarte.

“Does Peru believe the president? Not only about lies but about breaches of the truth, which is a fundamental moral condition to exercise the presidency of the Republic, echoing this clamor from many sectors, we have finished formulate a presidential vacancy motion that we have begun to collect signatures this afternoon,” said Sánchez.

The congressman stated that this motion was just detailed today and that starting tomorrow they will begin collecting the necessary signatures for it to continue its regular process in Parliament.

“It is a multi-party initiative that has different perspectives from benches, from congressmen. It is only one that we are incorporating, grouping and I am sure, democratically, we believe that we can no longer sustain such a government reality,” he added on Canal N.

“What is criticizable is that she lies, sneaks, obstructs justice and does not testify for more than 100 days, since it damages the integrity and legitimacy of what it means to be president,” Sánchez said in reference to the so-called ‘El cofre’ case.
