Martínez was attacked when he was leaving his home in Real del Sol, Guadalupe municipality; upon getting into his vehicle, he received two bullets to the head at around 7:00 am on Saturday.
The president magistrate of the Judiciary of Zacatecas asked the Attorney General of the State of Zacatecas to investigate the facts so that those responsible for the murder of the judge do not go unpunished.
“Those of us who work at @TribunalZac strongly condemn the cowardly attack that our colleague suffered this morning,” Nahle published on December 3.
A tribute is planned in memory of the judge by the Superior Court of Justice of Zacatecas and his family.
