Roberto Callejas from Santa Cruz won MX1 in the National Motorcycle Championship

The rider from Santa Cruz Roberto Callejas won the MX1 category on the first date of the National Motorcycle Championship, which took place over the weekend in Cliza, Cochabamba. The event took place at the Villa El Carmen circuit, where the cross and enduro modalities were played.

The cross modality was run on Sunday and Callejas won in the highest category, MX1, ahead of Wálter Nosiglia from La Paz, who was second; and Roy Velasco from Santa Cruz, who took third place on the podium.

The fight for first place between Callejas and Nosiglia was relentless. The first heat was won by the man from La Paz and the representative from Santa Cruz was second, in the following heat the positions were reversed and both finished the race with 47 points. In this type of case, according to the regulations, the absolute winner of the race becomes the winner of the second race.

In the MX2 category, the fastest was Carlos Andrés Padilla, that represents Tarija. He prevailed in both races and was followed by Marco Rocha from Santa Cruz and Manuel Medrano from Villa Montes, second and third, respectively.

The other winners in the cross modality were Paolo Sarmiento (Cbba.), in the MX A master’s degree; Freddy Herboso (Cbba.), in the MX B master; Carla Tapia (MON), in the MX ladies; Eduardo Guzmán (SC), in the 85 MX; Roy Delgado (CLI), in the 65 MX; John Ribera (MON), in the 50 2T; Maximialiano Arroyo (TAR), in the 50 4T; and Luana Villanueva (MON), in the 55 MX.

On Saturday the enduro modality was played in which the winners were Jeferson Herboso (Cbba.), in the open 650; Maruiza Pardo (MON), in ladies; Yerco Coronado (SC), in the 250 4T; Jean Verón Herboso (Cbba.), in the 225 cc; Yamil Salazar (SC) in the 185 MN master’s degree; Daniel Casillas (Santa Cruz), in the 185 MN; Marco Antonio Roca (SC), in the CG; Freddy Herboso (Cbba.), in the master enduro B; and Keny Camacho (Cbba.), in the master enduro A.

The 2022 national motorcycling championship It consists of seven dates.
