Santo Domingo. – The Executive Branch issued this Monday Decree number 15-23 by which it designates Roberto Angel Salcedo Sanz General Director of the General Directorate of Strategic and Special Projects of the Presidency of the Republic (PROPEEP).
Article 16 establishes that article 2 of Decree 389-20 of August 24, 2020 is repealed, due to the resignation of Jose Leonel Cabrera to the condition of general director of the General Directorate of Strategic and Special Projects of the Presidency of the Republic (PROPEEP).
In addition, Catalino Correa Hiciano was appointed as general director of the Social Subsidies Administrator (ADESS), thereby repealing article 3 of decree no. 180-21 of March 18, 2021.
By means of the presidential provision, Félix Antonio Santana García is designated as comptroller general of the Republic and article 20 of decree no. 329-20 of August 16, 2020.
Likewise, in its article 5 the Decree establishes the appointment of Rómulo Victirbio Francisco Arias Moscat as General Director of Government Accounting.
Article 6 provides that Digna Reynoso is appointed General Director of the General Directorate of Passports and in number 7 Néstor Julio Cruz Pichardo is designated General Consul of the Dominican Republic in Panama.
The decree of the Executive Branch repeals articles 1 of decree no. 390-20, of August 24, 2020, 15 of decree no. 339-20, of August 16, 2020, and 2 of decree no. 388-20 of August 23, 2020.
Article 9 provides for the appointment of Pedro Antonio Quezada Cepeda rector of the San Luis Community Higher Technical Institute (ITSC), repealing article 6 of decree no. 374-20 of August 21, 2020.
With this Decree, the Executive Power designates Bartolomé Yaque Pujals Suárez as general director of the Government Office of Information and Communication Technologies (OGTIC), in addition to the functions of executive director of the Innovation Cabinet, in accordance with article 1 of decree no. 465-21, of July 27, 2021; his role in the Innovation Cabinet will be carried out on an honorary basis.
Likewise, it provides that Francisco Vegazo Ramírez is appointed adviser to the Presidency of the Republic in matters of higher education and repeals article 1 of decree no. 523-21 of August 23, 2021.
Through this Decree, José Leonel Cabrera, in his capacity as minister without portfolio, is instructed to follow up on compliance with the objectives of public policies outlined by the Executive Power.
Magalis Tabar Manzur is appointed civil governor of the El Seibo province and article 3 of decree 508-20 of September 28, 2020 is repealed.
In addition, Genara González Marmolejos is appointed civil governor of the Barahona province and article 4 of decree 340-20 of August 16, 2020 is repealed.
The presidential decree establishes in its article 21 that Adela Mercedes Tejada Gil de Rosario is designated civil governor of the Monseñor Nouel province. In addition to her functions as governor, she is designated as interim president of the Executive Commission of the Council for the Development of the Monsignor Nouel Province; Her role in the aforementioned executive committee will be carried out on an honorary basis.
Similarly, it provides that articles 4 of decree no. 158-22, of March 31, 2022 and 12 of decree no. 340-20 of August 16, 2020.
Through the Decree, Manuel Hipócrates Conde Cabrera is appointed as a member of the Unified Council of Electricity Distribution Companies and repeals numeral 4 of article 1 of decree no. 375-20 of August 21, 2020.
In the same way, José Pedro Díaz González is designated a member of the Unified Council of Electricity Distribution Companies and numeral 6 of article 1 of decree no. 375-20 of August 21, 2020.
